Terms and Conditions
On receipt of the reservation inquiry, we will contact you and provide you with a confirmation of availability, Room rate (including any applicable tax), additional such as breakfast, half board or fullboard and the amount of deposit required.
Due to high demand Hotel De La Poste is often booked in advance. To confirm your reservation you will need to forward a deposit with the amount requested by transfer to our bank account or by credit card or Paypal using payment link, subject to surcharge.
When your deposit arrives in our account your reservation will be confirmed. Please advise us by email after your payment has been made. We will then send you a written confirmation note. Reservations are handled on a “first come, first served” basis for 24H holding availability.
Minimum Stays and Rental Rates
We have minimum stay requirement at Hotel De La Poste as follows :
- Rooms 1 night for low season and 2 nights for high season
- Suites 2 nights for low season and 3 nights in High Season
We might agree to a shorter stay on a case by case basis. Longer minimum stay might be different for Winter High season and Rental rates also vary according to the season.
Hotel De La Poste reserves the right to adjust the rates without any prior notice in the event of tax alterations by the government or any other facilities, services and manpower related situations.
Deposit of 50% of the net total rental amount will be payable within 24H working days after the written booking confirmation has been received. The remaining balance will be received within a week days prior to scheduled arrival or paid on arrival. If booking is made less than 1 week days prior to arrival, full payment is strongly required.
Bank Account and Payment Link
Full details of our bank account or Payment link will be given at time of booking confirmation.
The amount received is full amount exclude any bank charges and surcharges that have incurred with the processing of payments
We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking, to protect you and all those accompanying you for the full time of your visit against illness, incl. evacuation, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation and other travel contingencies.
Please be advised that we are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal equipment and property during your stay at Hotel De La Poste, or during your participation in any activities during your visit to Le Chable, Verbier area. We will not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which maybe caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control such as late arrival of International flights, civil disturbances, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or the failure of any machinery or equipment.
Damages and broken things
All damages of the hotel property and equipments done by clients will be charged to client’s bill based on replacement basis by the end of their stay.
Occupancy and Children Policy
Children under 6 years old sharing with parents will be free of charge. The maximum capacity of the rooms as follows :
- Double Bedroom (Comfort Room) ensuite is 2 persons + 1 children (under 6 years)
- Single Rooms shared bathroom is 1+1extra person and 1+3 extra person, children included
- Two Bedrooms Suite (With living room and Kitchen) is 4 + 2 extra person, + 1 children (under 6 years)
- One Bedroom Suite (With living room and Kitchen) is 2 + 2 extra person, + 1 children (under 6 years)
- Junior Studio Suite (open bathroom design, with living room) is 1+1 person, children included
Check-in and Check-out Time
Check-in time is 15h00 hours. Check-out time is 10h00 hours. Early Check-in and late check-out is subject to room availability.
(If) the guest wishes to cancel a confirmed booking of the reservation, the written notice of cancellation must be sent to Hotel De La Poste. All cancellation notices received by Hotel De La Poste will be acknowledged in writing. It is strongly recommended that the guest and all members of the guest’s purchase trip cancellation insurance.
Cancellation of a booking includes but is not limited to: Cancellation of one or more days of a booking; An amendment of a booking so that none of the dates of the booking once amended fall within the same dates that originally constituted the booking; Failure of all guests to provide the required documentation on arrival (eg. Passports or suitable identification); and Attempt by the guest, their party or visitors in breach of these Terms and Conditions or breach of any rules applicable to the guest. In the event that the guest cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation fees will generally apply:
- 14 days before guest may cancel without any charges.
- Less than 14 days, we charge 50% from 1 night price of room reserved, or you may change the dates without charges (price will adjust depend on season).
- Less than 7 days we charge 1 night.
- 1 day and No Show we fully charge all room cost for full length of stay except tourist tax
Every guest has the responsibility to comply with the travel requirements. Hotel De La Poste is not responsible for any travel cancellation because of guests not complying or eligible for travel. In the case of one or more of the members not eligible for traveling, this may change with any person eligible for travel as long the stay period is the same with the reservation.
If Hotel De La Poste didn’t receive any notification of the balance payment based on the confirmation sent prior to the booking and full payment is not received in 24 H after the balance invoice issued, We reserve the right to consider the booking canceled and retain the deposit.
Some conditions apply and full details will be given at the time of booking.
In the event the guest cannot travel due to Covid restrictions such as the airport and station closed, 2+ days quarantine on arrival / departure on return to their country or borders closed, Hotel De La Poste is offering flexibility term and offer a credit note for the deposit for 6 months from the original arrival date so guest can rebook. Proof of documentation on travel restriction is required.
Function or Event
Should there be any function or event in the Hotel De La Poste including restaurant/bistro and bar, we strongly urge the client include the reservation of the rooms during the event day to maintain the privacy. The guest will subject to pay function cost and any cost related to food, beverage and services. A refundable CHF 3000 damage bond may be collected prior to the commencement of the booking, by credit card or transfer. Strictly enforced noise parameters will be in place, requiring any function to end by 23H00 and for service providers to cease operations by 23H00 unless variation is agreed with the hotel management.
